It is a pleasure to invite you to Fortinet Security Day Digital Edition for the Nordic and Baltic region.

More and more organizations are addressing Digital Innovation initiatives to accelerate their businesses, reduce costs, improve their efficiency and offer better experiences to their clients. The most common initiatives involve moving applications and workflows to the cloud, implementing new devices within the corporate network, or offering all the organization’s services also in the branches.
This supposes an evolution in the infrastructure, and in turn, new security risks. Organizations must cope with attack surface growth, advanced threats, increased management complexity and only an advanced cybersecurity platform that offers visibility and management of the entire environment can help them manage these challenges and achieve the best results.

Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) – or Stuff Always Strangely Evolving
by Patrick Grillo, Senior Director, Security Strategy, Fortinet
The latest blockbuster from Gartner burst on to the scene just about a year ago and as expected has disrupted the status quo. Looking at the Gartner definition of SASE shows that the principles behind it are spot-on – converging networking and security into a single operating model and provide equivalent services regardless of who or what is connecting to the network. A contentious point of SASE, however, is that Gartner advocates that all security services must be delivered from the cloud.
This session will take a look at how SASE can be implemented in a network but not necessarily for the entire network.
